Production Health Safety Management provides in depth pre-planning and Health Safety protocol development, on-site PCR and Rapid Antigen Testing, Concierge PCR and Rapid testing, continuous high touch surface area cleaning, electrostatic disinfection, PPE kits, on-site Health Safety Supervisors, COVID Compliance Officers, and Set Medics. All of our compliance staff come from healthcare backgrounds with many having production experience. Additionally, all of our staff are qualified to act as set medics. We also offer consulting, telehealth, and medical care under the direction of our Medical Director Dr. Darren Cuthbert who is a public health and epidemiology expert and emergency room physician. Our company also handles the mitigation and contact tracing of individuals who test positive or present with symptoms on set. We are trusted throughout the industry and have worked with Networks and brands such as Viacom CBS, MTV, HBO, Pepsi, JP Morgan Chase, The NFL, The NBA, and many more.
We are unique from other companies as we only provide medically trained professionals to conduct health screenings and compliance on your set. We believe it is paramount for individuals in this position to have extensive knowledge and experience in infection prevention. Production Health Safety ensures that all of our personnel are highly trained and qualified, ready to handle any possible scenario regarding a potential COVID-19 infection. We work under the direct supervision of our Medical Director who is regularly involved in the day-to-day operations and safe planning of productions. Our physician is available for consulting, incident management, and tele-health visits in the case of a positive or symptomatic employee.
Our Medical Director: Darren Cuthbert, MD, MPH
Serving as the Medical Director for Production Health Safety Management, Dr. Darren Cuthbert is an Emergency Physician with an extensive background in Public Health and Epidemiology. Within this role, he leads a national team of seasoned healthcare professionals, dedicated to the safety of our clients. At a moment’s notice, a multidisciplinary group of physicians, as well as public health and healthcare professionals, are ready to advise and carry out health-related strategies planning for all production and related business functions under his direction.
While operating as Medical Director, Dr. Darren Cuthbert continues to work clinically as an Emergency Physician at Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr, Cuthbert received his undergraduate education from Rutgers University. He then earned his Medical Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Epidemiology from St. Georges University School of Medicine. He then returned to Rutgers University to obtain his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Cuthbert has published numerous articles, abstracts, papers and presentations on various topics within medicine and public health. He has received publications within The Journal of Emergency Medicine, Military Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and many more. He also served as a Captain and Emergency Physician within the United States Army Reserves. Dr. Cuthbert continues to remain active in various organizations dedicated to the expansion of Public Health and Emergency Medicine.
